Fall Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sliders

Everyone loves sliders. They are a great idea for fall parties and gatherings and always please the tummy. In this recipe, we will combine several of our favorite things: sliders, pulled pork, and Chick 'N Skins, all with a sweet, spicy, Hawaiian flair. We have a feeling you will love them as much as we do!
Ingredients
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
1 2-3 lb pork shoulder or pork butt
1 12 oz can of root beer
1 15oz bottle of King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Pineapple BBQ Sauce
12 King's Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Dinner Rolls
6 slices of Monterey Jack cheese, quartered to fit on the dinner rolls
½ can chopped black olives
6-8 Tom Yum or BBQ Bacon Chick 'N Skin pieces – chopped
Cookware You'll Need
Slow cooker
Small mixing bowl
Platter or baking sheet to put the sliders on
Recipe
In a small mixing bowl, put chili powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder and stir lightly. Rub this mix all over the pork and place the pork in the slow cooker. Pour the root beer over the pork and cook until the meat is tender, usually on high about 6 – 8 hours or on low about 8 – 10 hours. Once the pork is tender and cooked all the way through, shred it on a cutting board using two forks into bite-sized pieces. Put the shredded meat back into the slow cooker and add in the King's Hawaiian Original Sweet Pineapple BBQ Sauce. Stir to mix everything together. Simmer the mix while you are preparing the rest of the ingredients.
Slice the rolls in half lengthwise, and separate the halves. Spoon the pulled pork onto the bottom half of each roll. Sprinkle chopped olives on the pork. Sprinkle the Chick 'N Skin pieces on each slider. Place one quartered slice of cheese on each slider. Put the top of the roll back on to each slider and serve!
