Broccoli salad is one of those summer and fall staples that offers a cool dish with a crunch. There are a ton of different recipes out there for broccoli salad, so we thought that we would throw our twist on this traditional dish. Here is our recipe for Chick N' Skin Broccoli Salad:
Makes 8 cups.
1 med bag frozen broccoli OR 4 large broccoli heads - chopped
2 cups Ranch dressing
1 1/2 cup fresh bacon pieces
3/4 cup diced fresh tomatoes
1 cup chopped Chick N' Skin
Extra chopped Chick N' Skin pieces for garnish
These are some regional favorites that you can add in if desired
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raisins
Boil broccoli pieces until tender but still crisp, drain, and place in a large bowl. Add in Ranch dressing and mix carefully. Add in bacon pieces, tomatoes, and Chick N' Skin pieces, mix carefully. If needed, add more Ranch dressing to your tastes. You want to make sure that all pieces are coated with Ranch. Add in any regional favorites if you prefer.
To serve, place 1 cup serving on a plate or bowl and top with sprinkling of Chick N' Skin crumbles.
