5 Holiday Game Releases We Can't Wait For
We love our video games as much as we love our Chick 'N Skins, so its no wonder that we have some games we're not so patiently waiting on this holiday season. Since we know that there are several of our fans out there that are all about some video game weekend binges too, we thought that we'd put out a short list of games that we can't wait for the release dates on this holiday season. Also, we wanted to make sure that you all knew about them too so you can be ready to grab your copy before they sell out.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Nintendo Switch
Release: December 7th, 2018
At E3 this year, Nintendo revealed the latest in Super Smash Bros: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While it might seem like just another version of this game, it's almost like a “best of” mash up that we cannot wait for. It will include every single fighter that's been in the series so far, such as DLC characters, guest characters, new Splatoon squid-kids and even Ridley from Metroid. And guess what, it pairs perfectly with our Original Chick 'N Skins and our Amazingly Addictive Dip!
Pokemon: Let's Go (in Pikachu and Eevee renditions) – Nintendo Switch
Release: November 16th, 2018
With the insane success of Pokemon Go, comes the newest Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch. These new renditions, the Pikachu and Eevee games, will give players a Pokemon Go feel while also giving quests, towns, and exploration in game. Plus, it's also going to offer a Poke Ball Plus peripheral, which can be used to capture Pokemon and transfer them over to your Pokemon Go. So what pairs better with a new Pokemon game than our Salt & Pepper Chick 'N Skins? Nothing that we know of, except maybe more Chick 'N Skins!
Fallout 76 – PS4, Xbox One, and PC
Release: November 14th, 2018
Who doesn't love the Fallout series? We know we are all huge fans here. Well, in this new title, it will scrap some of the long winded single player campaigns and finally give us what we want now: multiplayer, multiplayer, multiplayer. All of the characters that you come upon in the game will be controlled by actual people somewhere else in the world and will focus on survival and team combat, plus building up that base! Man. We are so excited about this one, and we've got our Tom Yum Chick 'N Skins ready!
Battlefield V – PS4, Xbox One, and PC
Release: November 20th, 2018
Following in the footsteps of CoD and other games, Battlefield will be heading back to the WWII era with a massive multiplayer experience that allows you to create and keep your squad in battles. With four maps for the amazing Grand Operations, there's no shortage of game play to be had. Plus, you get to keep your War Stories missions and all of the add-on maps and content will be free. Which is awesome because you'll need that extra cash for gamer snacks, such as the ones listed here.
Borderlands 2 VR – Playstation VR
Release: December 14th, 2018
Holy cow Batman, could we be any more excited than getting a Borderlands in VR mode? Ok, maybe, but not too much more excited. While it's the same Borderlands 2 from a couple of years ago, this one has been completely redesigned to work in a VR setting. You do have to have the Playstation VR headset for this one, but man, it's looking like this will be one of the must-play experiences for, well, a long, long time. You'll also need to make sure that you have gamer snack boxes for a solid weekend of game play because you're sure to get sucked in and never want to leave.
